So, sorry it’s been a while. Hopefully anyone interested enough to follow this has been getting their fix from my twitter feed (handandface). At the time of writing, it’s a beautiful sunny day, spring time has well and truly owned today. Ideally, I’d be posting this from the garden but the wi-fi won’t reach where I am.

Last night was my girlfriend’s 21st and I got her a ukulele, so I’ve been tuning that and learning some chords. Israel Kamakawiwo’ole, Jack Johnson and R.E.M. are the most famous artists with songs I know use a uke, but rather randomly, when I was searching through past blips about half an hour ago, iTunes are advertising an artist called Nevershoutnever! who has a little bit of a pop-punker vibe - like if avril was a boy - but the uke is a welcomed gimmick, even if it is a gimmick nonetheless.

Also successfully made our way through the third installment of the Kaimana Features. This month, we have The Good Fight, from Northern Ireland and they are a cracking 4-piece indie rock effort. I’ll whack a link up to them shortly.

This isn’t a massive blog, or anything really ground-breaking but it’s a start, and I’m getting back into the routine slowly.

All the best for now,
Hand & Face,

Thom
