Hello.

The rain in Pembrokeshire has been a bit of a pain this last few days. It’s not my excuse for not posting. That’s been put down to pure laziness, and it does seem that its becoming a bit of a Sunday social club activity. Still, let us not forget that this week we witnessed history; a new President, with all the latest bits, bobs and some characteristics less becoming of those previous. I enjoyed watching my history with a cup of tea and a kit-kat.

Anyway… the keener-eyed of you will have also realised though, in the last 5 or 6 days, I have been busy updating the blog aesthetic. I’ve embedded the Hand & Face twitter settings, conveniently found at http://twitter.com/handandface for anyone who wants to follow me. But, if you don’t have a twitter account, fear not all updates will at some stage appear on this blog anyway. I’ve also managed to integrate my last.fm into the updates, and in fact, no more than 9 hours ago, got my mobile updating, so I can ‘twitter’ on the move.

I’ve also gone and turned myself into a DJ, and got a blip account. The idea behind that is, I thought I’d be nice and get some music on the go for the good people that read this blog. This may depend upon if you like my choice of music, but somewhere somebody may be enlightened. Be warned though, if you have a slow internet connection, blip.fm might not be the thing for you. The last five songs that I ‘blip’ will all appear here on this blog also for a limited period of time. Not least, because I have a sneaking suspicion that most of the songs linked through the blip.fm system are entirely illegal and get removed, but I like to think I can offer a bit of inspired progression by constantly adding to previous blips.

If you look at the backlog of blips on my profile, from start to finish you’ll notice I had no plan, just wild quotes, random thoughts and strange phrases. Now however, you’ll notice it’s… well, more of the same. Except, every message that each blip incurs, now comes with the prefix ‘You have the right to…’.

’You have the right to…’ is at the moment, my new thing; my new tag. Some things I write under the slogan will be whimsical, some things profound (hopefully) and some things opinionated (surely). Some will be jokes, some cultural refences, some some things will just be things I believe in. The fact that blip.fm places these slogans alongside the music is a deal I find most convenient. If you believe you have the right to do something, let me know, and I’ll give you a shout out.

Whilst we’re still on shouts, I would like to welcome Kevin R from across the way to my blog, officially that is. I don’t think that many people read this thing, but it’s always nice to know someone is reading, especially when it’s someone you know, so I hope you enjoy my posts from here onwards. Any spelling mistakes, please feel free to point them out. Come on now Kev, if Stephen Fry can do it, so can you. Get yourself a twitter ASAP. I think you owe, and can provide a valuable service to those thinking of dealing with CityLink.

I’m working on trying to get some new photos ready for posting, as I’m fed up of looking uncreative.
