So, the nights are drawing in. Go to work in the dark, come home in the dark. The only thing you have to brighten up the dark winter (I don’t care what the weatherman says - this definately ain’t autumn) evenings are the thought of fireworks and those thoughts may have or at least will be fizzled out lke a young child’s sparkler by the end of the next few days. Dire times. Never fear. Hand & Face are back and posting.
Right, so no one bought the car. That’s fine. I can cope with that. Moving on. It’s been an age since I posted. I am still into this all, I am just constantly busy. It also seems like I’ve fallen off the case with Kaimana Music, which also isn’t the case. Anyone who has been following this is probably wondering where is the November start that we were promised. Truth is, we had everything set to go but in the last few days realised that we’d made a major error. Not something that shouldn’t be there, but something that we realised was missing and that we needed, and we just didn’t have time to put right. It wasn’t the fault of our artist, and we intend to simply push everything back for just one more month, which annoys me, but it’s all I can do.
Kaimana is also currently going through a nice transition; the new workshop is on the way. The wood and plaster board has been delivered, so it’s all looking… untidy, but that in itself is…. tidy!
In other news, I’ve just come back from a few separate weekends of checking out some really cool things. I will be posting up new links on the links page very soon and adding an unsigned music list, which will be updated as we go.
Congratulations goes out to America. It seems to me that they have just come of age. I was going to post a bit about Dizzee Rascal on Newsnight, but Radio 1 have jumped all over it and have now made it grossly unsatisfying to even think about.
That’s all I have time for at the moment, but updates are a-coming.
