Due to the current economic downturn, global financial crisis and falling share index, Hand & Face has been forced to make some changes. We’ve had to lay-off our keyboard, and therefore haven’t been able to type anything for the last week and a bit. Apologies for any inconvenience experienced.
Working in Haverfordwest has done wonders for my principles. If you read the opening gambits of the paragraph above, you may not be surprised to know that this hasn’t done much for my bank balance, but seen as there really isn’t too much to shout loud and proud about in town, it’s always nice to be able to big something up. And I feel very much a sense of small businesses together.
Therefore, I wanted to give a shout out to Terminal Records. Always there, always open and always full of nice surprises. Limited edition 7” vinyl a-go-go, and I picked up some real bargains. Index books and boxes and boxes of CDs and LPs. This is me, paraphrasing TidyLike, “getting vocal and buying local”. Nice one.
I wonder if he can order me in Ninja Tuna. After Scruff’s recent singles, I am dying to hear it.
That’s all you’re getting this week. Cutbacks. Cheers,
Thom,
