Hello.

I’ve been playing the new Mario Kart for the Wii and I have to say, its a very good game. The reason for this being, that they’ve not changed much since it’s last proper incarnation on the N64. They’ve included levels from other games and their formats like the DS and GameCube but they’ve not tried to do anything too fancy. And, what they have brought in, has been a success. The Wii format for instance, brings a new dimension to the game. And the inclusion of bikes, as well as the standard cars is a surprising and enjoyable inclusion to what was already a staple game for Nintendo.

I saw Hancock last night. It was my first time at the cinema in well over 10 months, and although not what I would have gone to see on my own, it was a nice surprise of a film to. Split into two halves though. First half comedy, second half drama. It’s easy to box this film up before you’ve seen it but the twist in the tale proves to be the stumbling block for the comedy thereafter. Luckily, you feel for most of the characters by this point. Like I said, it’s a nice surprise of a film.

Not much else happening. Surf has been pretty bad lately, but I’ve been asked to take some photos for Kaimana Surf Co. at the next couple of comps and also do some promo shots. Their new website should be up and running in the next few weeks so check back to that if you’re interested, and I’ll keep you posted on the Hand & Face stuff that goes along with it.

Take it easy,

Thom
