The most observant of you will have realised that when you log on to today’s blog, we are now hosted by the domain name ‘hand and face dot co dot uk’. Phase two of the ‘make-hand-&-face-a-real-living-breathing-thing’ masterplan has come to fruition; phase one being ‘start a blog’. But I did have a job working the IP addresses, so I feel that this is work enough for one day. Oh yes I do. Still, I’ve not brought you much substantial, and I feel guilty, so here are a few things.
Now I don’t want to take this subject lightly, especially as its such a big area and has an opinion on most things but, maybe this is the best time to introduce this; in stages. Japan is such a huge, huge market for anything. If something is brilliant in the worlds of art, design, toys, culture, etc. Japan has a take on it and ultimately, someone doing something just as good. I Dot Japan is a simple blog, there isn’t always that much about it and its not the definative thing you can read to keep you up to date, but it is opinionated and concerned with what it likes. So, a good place to start, for their blog and ours.
More free good music for you also, Ryan Baxley. Think Great Lake Swimmers crossed with Iron & Wine. And its mostly free from last.fm and myspace. Short and sweet. Moving on.
Last but not least, a personal favourite of mine. I would 100% get one of these if it wasn’t so expensive. I love the idea of the mimobots, its very now, for this time and like I said, if you can afford one of them, then go for it because they’re lovely. Right, that was a good day’s work. Be back soon with more, and look out for the next listening posts.
