Today’s been very quiet. Nothing gone on much here. And I don’t just want to blog for blog’s sake, but I really don’t have that much to do. Plus, in a few weeks when I have other things on, I will most likely revert back to neglecting this particular duty, so its better to get a few blogs in now when I still have the drive. I found a really cool new band, ticking all my hypothetical boxes when it comes to catching my attentions, on Soma FM. They’re called The Seldon Plan, and they’re from Washington, DC. They’ve got a new record out, but their album from 2005, Making Circles, is just stunning. Their myspace page is here, so give ‘em a go if you feel like something new. Also, the new album from Fleet Foxes is really good, and out on the 16th. It’s out online now, but nothing can beat something you can hold in your hand. A frustrating day’s painting today. Managed to ruin my shorts with Aquamarine Blue acrylic, but not much else. I had a really nice idea and I messed it up, so now I am back to a blank canvas. Well, it’s silver but no real distinguishing features. Suppose that’s all I have for today. Covers all the bases too. Thom, Hand & Face
