I debated putting the ‘U’ back in the word ‘color’, but since I was listening to Death Cab For Cutie and it was relevant, I left it out. But there has indeed been a lack of colour around this place of late. All of the photographs that I’ve been working on for my postcard series were in black and white, as are all of the photos I’ve posted on here so far. Today, I felt something had to be done about it. Plus, I was under deadline to finish a commission, and thought it was about time to get the ol’ brushes out again.

The result of this can be seen above. But its stirred my creative side and I’m already underway with another piece, which I will post up if and when it’s finished.

Yes, this particular day’s blog is very much a design concerned affair. My postcards are making steady progress / profit in the local shop. I’m pleased with the way they seem to have turned out, but I won’t know exactly how popular they will be for at least another month, which is a shame. I guess it’s impatience but I really just want to see what happens when you put lots of people around them. The school term doesn’t officially end of about another month. So far I’ve put 240 postcards out on display, and I’m hoping to do some affordable display prints soon as well.

Well, the small hours are finally upon us, and though this is the time when I’m usually most pro-active, I think I’m just going to turn in.
